Chelsea chiefs fear whizkid Martell Taylor-Crossdale planning to leave

Chelsea striker Martell Taylor-Crossdale is weighing up a move away this summer.

The Daily Mail says Taylor-Crossdale is a target for League One clubs Fleetwood Town and Charlton Athletic.

The striker has been prolific for the Blues academy this season, scoring 20 goals so far across various age groups, following up last year's tally of 22.

Taylor-Crossdale is highly-rated by Chelsea coaches, but the club are facing a fight to keep their teenage striker. He has 12 months left on his current deal.

The 18-year-old's performances this season have attracted interest from a host of lower league clubs prepared to give the youngster his break in senior football.
