Chelsea chiefs Frank Arnesen and Rainer Bonhof saw Bayern Munich centre-forward Luca Toni score twice in Saturday's German Cup final triumph over Borussia Dortmund.
Sporting director Arnesen and scout Bonhof made a check on Toni as they consider the Italy international as a potential replacement for Didier Drogba next season.
