Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon is remaining silent over a proposed play for AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti.
Current manager Guus Hiddink is only contracted until the end of the season and then will return to the Russian national team and the Blues are looking for an apt replacement.
"I don't want to comment," Kenyon said.
"We are concentrating on Guus being with us until the end of the season.
"He's continuing to progress and win us games so we are all very delighted.
"The whole agreement was for a short-term, interim period and that is how it remains."
