Chelsea chief Ron Gourlay admitted this morning a new manager could be in place in the coming days.
Currently in Malaysia, Gourlay elaborated on comments made in Hong Kong on Tuesday regarding the appointment of a new manager.
"As I said yesterday in the interview in Hong Kong, the process is moving along very well. I said yesterday that we would look to have a new coach in place maybe within the week to two weeks," he said.
"If that happens sooner then I'd be absolutely delighted and we are certainly working to a week to two weeks but it could be sooner."
