Chelsea are chasing Arsenal winger Theo Walcott.
The Daily Express says Blues owner Roman Abramovich and technical chief Michael Emenalo are determined to drive down the average of the squad.
Emenalo has a shortlist of potential transfer targets, all aged 26 or under. Walcott, Eden Hazard (Lille), Javi Garcia (Benfica) and Gonzalo Higuain (Real Madrid) are on his radar.
