Chelsea football chief Michael Emenalo was key to winning the race for Anderlecht superkid Charly Musonda Jr.

Johan Boskamp has acted as a mentor for the three Musonda brothers and actually visited the Nou Camp with the family as Barcelona sought their signature.

However, Emenalo, who is close to Boskamp, stepped in quickly last month to confirm their interest and was able to convince the Musonda family that Stamford Bridge was the best place for Charly and his older brothers Lamisha and Tika.
