Chelsea chief Frank Arnesen has held talks with Bayern Munich over midfielder Toni Kroos.

The youngster was linked with Chelsea in last weekend's press.

And German sources say Arnesen made contact with Bayern sports chief Christian Nerlinger this week about Kroos' availability.

Nerlinger refused to name their price for Kroos, but Arnesen made him aware that Chelsea will follow up their initial enquiry in the coming weeks.
