Chelsea chasing Young Boys star Seydou Doumbia

Chelsea have launched a bid for Ivory Coast international striker Seydou Doumbia.

Doumbia came off the bench to score for Ivory Coast in their 2-2 draw with Germany last night.

The 22 year-old has been linked with Liverpool in the past, but Berner Zeitungh says Chelsea have launched a bid for the BSC Young Boys striker.

Doumbia has an amazing scoring record for his Swiss club and Chelsea are willing to offer €22 million to land the youngster. A bumper contract worth €4 million-a-year is on the table for Doumbia to consider.

Thats an example of what is required at chelsea now. A young skillfull fast and able striker that delivers always. Just as messi for barca and c. Ronaldo for man. U then e.t.c

come to chelsea Seydou

things are falling into place, Dzeko to AC which will make it easier to get Pato, looks like a deal is nigh with aguero and maybe David Villa and David Silva, di Maria appears likely for July 2010, and if we can get a few more we'll be in great shape

Our other january signings should go...
1. Aguero or Pato and bring Franco di Santo and Michael Mancienne back
2. Villa, if we can get silva and/or mata as well, if not then i think we should get quaresma back
3. Angel di Maria
and/or Quaresma
and definately Alan Dzagoev (did u see him against Man U!)
Alex Tiexeira (before Man U can nab him)
4. Daniele de Rossi
Sergio Ramos
Ribery
Cesar Azpilicueta and Nacho Monreal from Osasuna
Lucas Piazon (youth from Brazil) and Romelu Lakuku (youth from Anderlecht)
or Jesus Gamez from Malaga
or Jonathan De Guzman
5. Marek Hamsik
and/or Joao Moutinho
and/or Ramires
and/or Raul Meireles
and/or Mesut Ozil
and/or Jack Rodwell
6. An ACN backup, Heskey
Pazzini
Acquafresca
Robinho
Hulk
Pavlyuchenko
Huntelaar
Luis Suarez
Marouane Chamakh
Milos Krasic
7. Patrick Vieira
8. A strong defender, Gary Cahill, Maicon, Javi Garcia
9. YOUTH!!!! Adam Johnson, David Luiz, Sebastian Corchia, Vladimir Koman, Angelo Ogbonna, Zhano Ananidze, Vid Belec, Rene Khrin, Matej Delac, Miguel Vitor, Gladson Awako, Fabian Rinaudo, Lorenzo Paramatti, Marcos Gullón, Zezinho, Maxime Lestienne, Seydou Doumbia

you're wrong. he'll stay in berne 'til the end of the season.

he's one of the gratest players right now. the record speaks for itself. he's scoring all the time. but sorry, we need him in berne to win the title(s) in this season! But who knows...
