Chelsea are weighing up a bid for Napoli wing-back Christian Maggio.

Blues owner Roman Abramovich is expected to buy at least one fullback this summer with the futures of Jose Bosingwa and Ashley Cole clouded.

Maggio, who has also been a long-term target for Tottenham, is on Abramovich's radar. Much will depend, however, if Chelsea can clinch Champions League qualification.
