Chelsea are chasing Bayer Leverkusen striker Andre Schurrle. The Telegraph says Chelsea are considering a bid of between £14 million and £15.5 million for the German international striker Schürrle as Roman Abramovich continues to ponder the extent of his squad rebuilding over the summer.

He is just over 6ft tall and can play as a striker or a wide attacker. Chelsea have made initial inquiries about his availability but have not made an offer.

Leverkusen signed him from Mainz for about £6.5million and it appears the Bundesliga club would like to more than double their money if he is sold to Chelsea.
