Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is joining the battle for Spain U21 midfielder Asier Illarramendi.
The Real Sociedad starlet is the subject of interest from Arsenal and Real Madrid.
However, the Daily Mail says Abramovich is also keen after making a personal check on Illarramendi in Israel this week for the U21 Euros final.
