Chelsea captain Terry refuses to give up on Hiddink stay

Chelsea captain John Terry refuses to give up on manager Guus Hiddink staying long-term.

Terry said: "We will see what happens in the summer.

"We still have a lot of trophies to play for. If we go and win one or two or even three trophies, who knows what's going to happen?

"He has definitely been a breath of fresh air since he has come in and everyone's bouncing off him. Everyone halfway through the season was ruling us out. We had a change of manager and, since then, we have really turned our form around - our spirit, our work-rate for each other, and our performances.

"He knows how to get the best out of the lads. We're resting more but, when we are training, he's on top of everyone. In games we are working and fighting for each other. It's great to see."
