Chelsea captain John Terry has praised club owner Roman Abramovich for bringing back so many former stars.
Terry revealed ex-Blues striker Kerry Dixon is one legend who played a key role in his development.
"When I was coming through, he was a big legend at the football club," the long-serving Chelsea captain said.
"He was a fabulous ambassador for the football club because of what he achieved in terms of his great goalscoring record.
"He is a great man as well. He welcomed me when I was coming up through the ranks, and he continued to be a big part of that when I was developing."
The 55-year-old now works in a hospitality role at Stamford Bridge, and Terry praised Chelsea owner Abramovich for welcoming former stars back to the club.
"It's still great to see him around the club," Terry said.
"It is great that, under Roman, figure heads are welcomed back to the football club. That is fantastic to see."
