Chelsea captain John Terry will undergo knee surgery today.
The Three Lions skipper will be out for up to a month and could miss the Euro 2008 clash against Croatia on November 21. Terry, 26, agreed to an op after an assessment by Chelsea's doctors yesterday afternoon, says The Sun.
The centre-back had hoped to soldier on with the piece of bone floating in his left knee.
But after breaking down in England training just 24 hours before Wednesday's 2-1 defeat in Russia, Terry will go under the knife this morning.
