John Terry is planning to be ready for Chelsea's Premier League clash with Arsenal this weekend.

The Blues captain missed Friday's loss to Liverpool due to an ankle injury and is out of Tuesday night's EFL Cup third round encounter with Leicester City.

However, the Daily Mail is reporting that Terry is eyeing Saturday's London derby against the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium.

Terry, 35, is back in training this week and is stepping up his preparations for the weekend so he can be involved in the trip up to North London.
