Chelsea captain John Terry is convinced he can make the Carling Cup final next week against Tottenham.

The England defender, who has been out since December said: "Fitness-wise I'm a week to 10 days away.

"If I can get a good week's training under my belt, maybe the weekend is a small possibility."

But Avram Grant fears his skipper is being over optimistic, saying: "He trained sooner than we thought.

"Everybody was happy to see him, but I think in about three weeks he will be fit."
