Chelsea captain John Terry says more English lads will follow Josh McEachran into the first team.

McEachran caught the eye in Chelsea 0-0 draw at Aston Villa.

And Terry told chelseafc.com: "With one or two injuries we do have to call upon the kids and there are a couple in and around Josh's age group. Nathaniel [Chalobah] is looking good as well and Jacob Mellis was on the bench.

"Some kids are showing real signs of quality in training but it is important they stay patient as well. If they get 10 or 15 minutes in games here and there for one or two years it is great for their experience."
