Chelsea captain John Terry not tempted by Guangzhou Evergrande

Chelsea captain John Terry has no plans to quit for China next month.

The Daily Mail says Terry is going nowhere in January, even if a mega-money offer comes in from China. The defender, 36, wants to stay and help Chelsea win the title in what could be his final season at Stamford Bridge.

The former England captain has featured little in Antonio Conte's plans, but will not consider his options until the summer, with a Chinese move on the cards.

Guangzhou Evergrande are expected to make him an offer when his contract expires.

While injured, Terry has been travelling with the squad, turning up at their Cobham training ground for meetings and to help oversee sessions.
