Chelsea are getting closer to a deal for Fulham superkid Moussa Dembele.

The Sun says Tottenham are giving up their pursuit of Dembele after the whizkid reportedly watched Chelsea's defeat against Manchester City.

The Blues are long-term admirers of the talented striker, 19, who has scored 16 goals this season.

Spurs will now turn their attentions elsewhere but Chelsea still face a battle for the French starlet.

Liverpool, Everton, Manchester United, Juventus and Napoli are all interested in the Paris Saint-Germain academy product.
