Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas says rebuilding Fernando Torres' confidence is a must if he is to return to his very best.

The £50million striker has scored just one goal in 21 appearances for the west London club and Villas-Boas says Torres' goalscoring slump is due to a lack of confidence.

The Chelsea boss said: "The talent is there, it's a question of regaining confidence from training and time and finding the back of the net."
