Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas hasn't ruled out going with Didier Drogba for the new season. The Telegraph says Villas-Boas, the new Chelsea manager, remains open to the possibility of Drogba extending his contract at Stamford Bridge, even if he does complete the signing of Falcao from former club Porto.
It had been widely assumed that Drogba would leave this summer, but Chelsea have been impressed by his performances and attitude since the £50 million arrival of Torres in January.
There is a sense from all sides that he could yet end his career at Stamford Bridge.
Tottenham are among the rival clubs with a strong interest in Drogba, but the anticipated rotation policy could help the Ivory Coast striker prolong his career.
