Villas-Boas was on Inter's shortlist over the summer before Chelsea shelled out to buy him from Porto.
"I admit I do not follow the Italian league, I read only the results. I know that Juventus had a good start, Inter have lost a very spectacular game in Palermo. But I think that can happen, that's a difficult stadium.
"The Nerazzurri have so many great players, however, and will do well," said Villas-Boas last night.
