Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas is ready to move for Genoa defender Diego Polenta in January.
Villas-Boas is monitoring the progress of Genoa's Uruguayan defender Polenta.
He tried to sign the 19-year-old starlet while he was still in charge at Porto last season and is keen to bring the defender to Stamford Bridge.
Genoa want £6 million for the youngster.
