Chelsea want to set up an amazing swap deal involving Didier Drogba and Inter Milan striker Adriano. The Mirror says Drogba's Chelsea career was on the brink last night with the Blues preparing to let the African go in a £30million swap deal for Brazilian superstar Adriano.

The Chelsea hierarchy have had enough of Drogba's petulance and tantrums after he held a clandestine meeting with Inter Milan officials in a London restaurant on Monday night.

And that looks set to be the final straw, with boss Luiz Felipe Scolari ready to sanction the African hit-man's departure - as long as the Blues can land Adriano from Inter.
