Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari is expected to recall Didier Drogba for Saturday's FA Cup tie with Ipswich.

The Daily Mail says Drogba's lame performance during the 3-0 defeat by Manchester United nine days ago was the breaking point in the pair's relationship and he was left out of the squad for the 4-1 win at Southend in the FA Cup replay.

The Chelsea striker was made to train with the reserves last Wednesday but he was expected to be on the bench against Stoke. Instead he was left out of the squad.

The Chelsea coach claimed that his attitude needed to improve and Drogba responded by staying behind after training on Friday for extra shooting practice.

Although most of his free-kicks ended up in a gully behind one of the goals, Drogba believed he had done enough to warrant a recall.
