New Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari has dismissed claims he can't stand Manchester United assistant manager Carlos Queiroz.
"It's one of the things I've learnt in Portugal. After I had been here six months, Carlos Queiroz, whom I like as a brother, said to me: ''Felipe, don't say anything else. Just do things and finish with conversations.'
"I thought about it, he insisted, and then I realised he was right.
"Nobody knows what goes on inside my head. That's why it's better not to respond to some criticism.
"For certain people the worst thing is to end up not knowing what I think or what I will do next. As we say in Brazil: 'Now I stay behind the tree stump - waiting.'
"I expect criticism from some people. I'm not at all surprised by Mourinho's criticism. I won't forget the criticism of people from my own orbit but that which comes from outside just washes over me."
