Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari hopes to wrap up a January deal for Sporting Braga striker Orlando Sa. The Mirror says Scolari took 20-year-old prodigy Orlando on a secret trial and was hugely impressed by the powerful Portugal Under-21 striker.

Braga have withdrawn Orlando from their senior squad to ensure that he does not get injured and while negotiations for the deal are ongoing - with the asking price at £4m.

Orlando, strong in the air, said: "This is an enormous opportunity for me.

"But everything depends on my club."
