Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari wants Didier Drogba to prove his worth today against Liverpool.
"In the past three or four years he has played fantastic games, but not with me," said Scolari. "What I saw of Drogba before I came here, he was for me the best player in the world and I voted for him.
"Now he's in better condition than when he played four or five games a few months ago. He has improved. Maybe against Liverpool he has more chance to start the game and be the same Drogba as before.
"If he continues with his progress he can be the best in the world again, because he's a different player with a different style to other players, with a good body, very good control and he scores many goals when he has only one or two chances."
On a critical interview made by Drogba last month, Scolari added: "The interviews are only words. Everyone at Chelsea likes him. He's happy here and has good spirits in training."
