Chelsea boss Scolari: Any player strop and they're OUT!

Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari says he wouldn't accept any outburst from his players in the manner of Arsenal captain William Gallas.

He said: "My authority is a normal one. I'm no longer only a coach. Maybe I am more experienced because I'm older.

"At times I'm not a coach, I'm a friend, a father sometimes. And sometimes I'm a coach and I need to say, 'You're wrong - OUT!'

"We have different levels here - coach, board and players. I respect the level of the board and the board respect my level, the players respect me and I respect the players.

"We have lines. As long as we have respect, we accept them. If they cross those lines we need to say something.

"Until now, nobody has and I think that's very good for Chelsea."

Scolari insisted he did not want to talk about the Gunners, Gallas or beleaguered boss Arsene Wenger.

But he described in detail how he keeps a happy camp despite a squad that boasts some of the game's biggest moaners - like Nicolas Anelka, Didier Drogba and Michael Ballack.

Scolari will give misbehaving players every chance to redeem themselves. But if they keep crossing the line, the message is clear - they are out.

He said: "I've had many problems in my career.

"Sometimes you give the chance to players to say something and they say more than they should.

"At that point you need to say 'Look, that's where your place is'.

"I've had problems before - not once but 15 or 20 times.

"But we talk things through and there's no more problem. Solved. It's not difficult."
