Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo says the club will not bow to pressure and purchase players for way over the odds.
The Blues are being linked with late transfer window moves for FC Porto striker Hulk and Marseille full-back Cesar Azpilicueta but Di Matteo suggests that perhaps the clubs in question are trying to hold the big-spending European champions to ransom.
"I think that goes for many teams, not just for us. We're not going to pay over the top," he said.
"What we think is the real value for a player, we have paid.
"There won't be anybody coming in for Sunday."
