Jose Mourinho has been named the League Manager's Association (LMA) Premier League Manager of the Year for 2014/15.

The Portuguese has landed the prize for the first time after guiding Chelsea to the Premier League title this season.

Mourinho, who was voted for by his peers, beat Southampton's Ronald Koeman and Swansea City's Garry Monk to clinch the award at the LMA ceremony on Tuesday night.

52-year old Mourinho was not in attendance on the night as he was present at Chelsea's end-of-season awards event in southwest London.
