Chelsea boss Mourinho wants to replace Luiz with Real Madrid's Ramos

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho wants to replace David Luiz with Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos in January. The Daily Star says Ramos has clashed in recent weeks with Madrid president Florentino Perez over a new deal to remain at the Bernabeu.

Mourinho is eager to add to his defensive options and has earmarked Ramos as the man to replace Luiz, who will be allowed to join Barcelona once the transfer window reopens.

Manchester City are also monitoring developments.
