Chelsea boss Mourinho urges patience: We're building something new

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho was very philosophical in today's Champions League media conference.

The Special One, reflecting on a season start which is the worst in Roman Abramovich's time as club owner, insisted this season was about building a new team.

"I had a fantastic time here before and most of the people I worked with are still here. The fans have given me everything," he declared.

"We want to build but at the same time win. We lost one match but if we played it 10 times we win nine and lose one.

"Porto and Inter were special clubs for me but for many reasons this is where I feel at home in every aspect."

On this season's Champions League, Mou added: "I have to focus, not in the past, but in the future. This isn't an obsession for me or Chelsea but I want to win.

"Let's enjoy tomorrow, I could choose a team with a lot of experience but I've chosen one with four players under 22."
