Chelsea boss Mourinho targets Xabi reunion (but how will Lamps take it?)

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho wants a reunion with Real Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso.

The Daily Mail says Xabi's contract runs out in the summer and Mourinho would love to bring his former star to London.

He was signed by Real Madrid in 2009 for £30million from Liverpool and has been a mainstay in the side since.

Xabi does have a rivalry with Frank Lampard and blames the England midfielder for breaking his ankle in 2005 with a sliding tackle.

Lampard said afterwards: "I felt very bad and phoned to apologise but he wouldn't really have it and ever since he has that look in his eye when we meet, and there is always a bit of jostling and shoving."
