Chelsea boss Mourinho takes new swipe at Real Madrid's Ronaldo

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has taken a fresh dig at Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo. The pair's relationship is understood to have deteriorated in the final weeks of Mourinho's time in charge at Real.

Quoted by Marca, Mourinho declared over the weekend: "I was manager for the first time in 2000, but before that, I was an assistant at big clubs with other great coaches and worked with the best players in the world.

"I was 30 (at Barcelona) and was training Ronaldo, not this one, the real one, the Brazilian Ronaldo."
