Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has signed a three-year deal with BT Sport.
The Telegraph says he will carry out various roles, with his deal including the option of him appearing during live matches in competitions which his club are not - or no longer - involved, possibly starting with next month's Community shield between Arsenal and Manchester City.
His Stamford Bridge commitments may preclude him analysing Premier League games but his role could encompass FA Cup ties and BT Sport's Champions League and Europa League coverage when its £897 million contract begins in 2015.
