Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho was delighted with Mark Schwarzer's cleansheet in victory at Liverpool.

The Aussie was impressive in the shock 2-0 win.

Mourinho said: "He was good - very solid and very experienced. When Liverpool started putting long balls in the area for Mark and Cahill and Ivanovic they were like fish in water. It was easy for them.

"He made not a lot but a couple of important, difficult saves. Good for him.

"We made a decision for him to play, not Hilario, because he needs to play. He's had a season playing just a few matches. He needed to play and this was a big game for him so it was good for his confidence."
