Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho accepts he faces a battle to prise Wayne Rooney away from Manchester United.

There is talk of Juan Mata's move to United smoothing the way for Rooney to join Chelsea.

Asked if the Mata transfer might help him sign Rooney, Mourinho replied: "I don't think so."
