Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho says Manchester City's form slide should not be a surprise. Mourinho says the Premier League is more demanding than other competitions in Europe.

"Our (strong) position is a reflection of everything. We have more points that the others, have been top of the League since day one. So it shows consistency, stability, confidence and a brave approach to every game. We deserve to be there.

"I am not surprised (by Manchester City's form) this is the Premier League. In other competitions it's difficult to believe a top team can lose five to seven matches. In other countries it's hard to lose that many but here it's possible. It happens to everyone, everyone has dropped points."
