Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho insists their clashes with Manchester City this season won't decide the title's destination.
Chelsea host City tomorrow.
Mourinho said: "We don't play just against them. We play against another 19 teams for the title not just City. There are other teams in this race. It's not a situation of Chelsea or City, other clubs have the same ambition. Last season we had the experience of winning and losing (in the FA Cup Fifth Round) there.
"Last season is last season, statistics belong to history not the future. What happened last year and what happened before has no relation to this season. Can we go there and win? Obviously we can. But can we lose? Yes.
"This is just one more game and three more points. When matches are played between the title contenders every point can make the difference."
