Chelsea boss Mourinho knows fed-up Falcao wants out of Monaco

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has been encouraged in his pursuit of AS Monaco striker Radamel Falcao. The Daily Mail says Falcao has not settled at Monaco this season and Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is looking to capitalise by bringing the Columbia striker to Stamford Bridge.

Mourinho and Falcao share the same agent - Jorge Mendes - which will smooth the path for the deal which will cost the Blues in the region of £60million.

Falcao is not enjoying life in the south of France and is unhappy with the standard of football on offer in Ligue 1.

He is also not keen on the proposed 75 per cent tax rate that the French government would like French clubs to pay on their salaries. Currently Monaco are exempt from French tax law.
