Chelsea boss Mourinho insists title race still wide open

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho insists they do not have the Premier League title sewn up.

Chelsea play at Hull on Sunday boasting a lead of six and seven points over Manchester City and Arsenal respectively, while Mourinho feels Manchester United and Liverpool are also within touching distance.

"We have been chased since day one, not just the last couple of weeks. It's been that way since August. It is normal for us. The others have good teams, ambitions and won't let us enjoy an easy ride.

"There are still five teams in it because the distance is still mathematically possible. The teams in fourth and fifth don't have to fight one, but three teams, so normally I would say it's between the first three. But the distance is short, I look at them and maths says things are open.

"We are in front. The advantage is significant, but there is still a long way to go. We are there, we are confident. We believe in our capacity to stay there until the last match. The best way to fight against complacency is to know there are is a long way to go, that there are difficult matches and opponents.

"Chelsea won three titles and people know that number clearly. But you can analyse in a different way, that we have won it once in nine years. It is not easy to win.

"But in these nine years, Chelsea were never six points more than the second in March, we have a good situation."
