Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho insists he's counting on Radamel Falcao this season.

The Colombian is on-loan at Chelsea from AS Monaco, but is expected to cut short the deal in January after failing to make a first team impression.

However, Blues manager Mourinho says he'd be happy if Falcao saw out his 12-month deal.

"I think and I hope he stays until the end of the season. I wish that all my current players can become a model for the new arrivals.

"We hope that things can change for the better, but I would be happy to go with this squad at least until June."
