Chelsea boss Mourinho: Filipe Luis ready

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho says Filipe Luis is ready to start against Manchester United.

With Cesar Azpilicueta suspended, Filipe Luis will start his first League match since joining from Atletico Madrid for £16m in the summer.

But Mourinho has no doubts he will be able to step up to the challenge and said: "I think he's showing what he can do already. It's not easy to come and kick Azpi out of the team because he's such a good player.

"We bought him for that. Our defenders are very young. The second line - Andreas Christensen, Kurt Zouma, Nathan Ake are very young players so we decided to have an experienced player to have a group of five.

"Filipe is playing a lot and in the Champions League. He's in perfect condition. He's very stable and experienced. For us as a team it makes no difference."
