Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is sorry seeing Massimo Moratti having to sell a controlling stake in Inter Milan to Erick Thohir.

Moratti and Mourinho remain close.

"Inter are always Inter. I am somewhat pained, because my Inter was that of Moratti and his family, but I think if he made this decision then it's because he understood it is for the good of our Inter.

"In any case, we will always be at this club's side," said Mourinho.
