Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho believes England are capable of winning the World Cup. He feels Roy Hodgson's side could be the tournament's dark horse - and insists England have the players to bring home the trophy.
"Yes, there is a group of countries (who are favourites) but there is a group of underdog countries and you never know...
"There is always a big question mark. Is it possible for a European team to go there and be champion in South America? That's a question mark.
"But of course Europe has some national teams that are ready for that. Europe, we have Spain which is the current champion. We have the experience of Italian football.
"England, everybody says: 'No, no, no, no, no' - I always say: 'Why not?' because I don't understand why not.
"When I see the players and the experience of the players and the clubs where they play, I don't understand why one day it cannot happen.
"Do I think England underachieve at major tournaments? I think so because this is the best championship in the world, it is the most competitive one.
"I know that many foreign players are in the top clubs but at the same time the national team players, all of them, they play in the top clubs in the Premier League.
"Players from Chelsea, from Liverpool, Man United, Arsenal, a few from Everton also - all of them, they know how to play under pressure, how to play for the big clubs.
"They play in the Champions League which is probably the most difficult football in the world so I don't see why they don't, I don't see why. So one day they have to do it."
