Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is pulling back from his pursuit of Southampton fullback Luke Shaw.

The Sunday Express says Shaw had set his heart on a move to his boyhood heroes but it appears that Mourinho - who appeared to be keen - is cooling.

Shaw is a huge Chelsea fan and was released by the Londoners as a junior.

Mourinho had been linked with Shaw but he would prefer to spend his money on strengthening his strike force.
