Chelsea are demanding Real Madrid stars Luka Modric and Raphael Varane in exchange for Ramires. The Daily Star Sunday says the Champions League winners are reportedly poised to make a £27m bid for Blues midfielder Ramires, a player boss Jose Mourinho will only consider selling if he can get Modric in return.
The former Tottenham star is a long-term target for Stamford Bridge chiefs, who are hoping they tempt the La Liga giants into doing a deal.
Another target for the club is Real centre-back Varane.
Chelsea have been reportedly interested in the 21-year-old ever since agreeing a £42m deal with French side PSG for Brazil international David Luiz.
