Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is chasing Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira.
The People says Mourinho will beef up Chelsea's midfield with Khedira once the World Cup is over.
He has already added Cesc Fabregas to his squad, and he is now turning his attention to the German international.
Khedira is entering the final year of his contract with Real Madrid, and Mourinho will comfortably top his current £3million annual salary to take him to Stamford Bridge.
Mourinho could sneak the former Stuttgart man away from Carlo Ancelotti for around £15m - a snip given the current market.
