Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is happy with their raid on the Spanish Liga this summer.
Chelsea's spending for the summer was taken to £75million with the arrival of Cesc Fabregas and Filipe Luis.
Mourinho feels they will give Chelsea the edge and added: "We went for stability with these three guys. Diego (Costa), Cesc and Felipe. We went for stability and for players who would find it easy to adapt to our team.
"(Cesc) is the kind of player we need in our midfield to bring us to a different dimension.
"The ball possession, the speed of the circulation, the decisive pass. He has everything.
"I don't think (Luis will struggle to adapt). He is experienced. Very stable, very reliable. He is a player who normally does not make mistakes. He is very stable from a defensive point of view.
"He is left-footed and likes to attack. We need that also, especially against teams who close a lot. We need that kind of creativity."
